A métisse artist of Indigenous (family members say Ojibwe and Mohawk), French and Scottish descent, Marie-Claude creates masks, large figurative sculptures, paintings, murals and mixed-media works and installations.

With traditional Indigenous teachings, studies in visual arts, psychology and art therapy, and a rich background as a practicing artist and facilitator, she pursues her artistic practice from her home base in Val-des-Monts (Outaouais, Quebec), and facilitates wellness workshops through group and individual sessions.

Marie-Claude has a profound love for our Mother Earth, and sees the relevance of the ancient teachings that originate from Nature and that are still being passed on to help us learn know how to live as Human Beings on this planet.

She believes that nurturing a personal connexion with our Mother, with the natural world, can help us transform our vision of the world and live more fully from our heart ... and that this makes amazing things possible.
